Troubleshooting of lawn mowers

But the lawn mower will have such and such problems after a long time of use, so let's talk about it today.
 
 
1. Inability to mow the lawn
Remove the air filter for cleaning, and replace it if it cannot be cleaned. Check the blade for sharpness, if it is dull it needs to be sharpened. In addition, whether the lawn has thick leaves, and if so, the size of the cut should be increased to reduce the load on the engine.
 
2. If the engine oil is not changed regularly, what kind of failure reactions will the engine have?
With the prolongation of engine working time, the waste dissolved in the oil will gradually increase, the color of the oil will gradually deepen and become black, and the lubricating function will gradually decrease. If the oil is not changed regularly, the lubricating function of the oil will gradually decrease, which will lead to excessive oil consumption, premature wear of the engine, loss of power, until the connecting rod breaks and the engine is scrapped. The oil change time should be 50 hours. If the engine works in a high temperature or dusty environment, the oil change time should be about 25 hours, or it can be determined according to the color of the oil in the oil chamber.
 
3. The connecting rod of the gasoline engine is broken or the cylinder block is broken at the same time
Failure performance:
The contact surface between the crankshaft and the connecting rod is seized. There are scratches on the contact surface of the connecting rod and the crankshaft.
Cause of failure: There is no or lack of lubricating oil, causing the contact surface (the inner surface of the connecting rod and even the surface of the crankshaft) to be melted and strained at high temperature.
Failure analysis:
No lubricating oil (gasoline oil) is added, or the lubricating oil is added but not in place, or the lubricating oil is added in place but the machine is used at an improper angle, causing the oil splash wheel to not contact the oil, so that the contact surface between the crankshaft and the connecting rod is not lubricated Oil or lack of lubricating oil causes the contact surface to be unlubricated first; secondly, there is no cooling. Under normal circumstances, if it is at the rated working speed, the crankshaft and the connecting rod will be seized for a few minutes due to the above reasons, causing the connecting rod to break and the cylinder block to be broken.
Adding counterfeit and shoddy engine oil will also cause the above problems.
Analysis basis:
(1) All internal combustion engines, crankshafts and connecting rods are seized (or locked) due to lack of oil;
(2) Sometimes there is no trace of wear debris in the oil stored in the machine damaged by the user, indicating that there is no oil during operation or the amount of oil is so small that the oil splash wheel cannot reach the level, or the oil in the machine is added after the accident. The oil added afterwards is not lubricated, so it is still clear and free of wear debris (the oil is gray-black);
(3) There is another situation, although there is enough oil, but when it is used on a slope greater than 25 degrees, the oil splash wheel cannot reach the oil due to the excessive inclination angle, and the above faults or other parts will be pulled (or locked). ), accelerated wear.
 
4. The engine is not stable
The throttle is at the maximum position, the damper is open; the spark plug wire is loose; water and dirt enter the fuel system; the air filter is too dirty; the carburetor is not adjusted properly; the engine fixing screw is loose; the engine crankshaft is bent.
Remedy: lower the throttle switch; press the spark plug outer line firmly; clean the fuel tank and refill the fuel; clean the air filter or replace the filter element; readjust the carburetor; check the engine fixing screws after turning off the engine; correct the crankshaft or replace the new shaft.
 
5. The engine cannot be turned off
The installation position of the accelerator wire on the engine is proper; the accelerator wire is broken; the accelerator activity is not sensitive; the flameout wire cannot be touched.
Remedy: Reinstall the throttle wire; replace with a new one; drip a small amount of oil into the active position of the accelerator; check or replace the flameout wire. As a good helper for agricultural production and making a fortune, agricultural machinery must not only be able to purchase and maintain, but also operate, maintain and maintain the machinery correctly.
 
6. Can't start in spring
After the winter, if the maintenance is not good, it will not start in the spring. The reasons and countermeasures are as follows:
(1) It may be that the first year's oil in the fuel tank has not been exhausted, so check whether the fuel is qualified fresh oil.
(2) Its function is to discharge the pulsed high-voltage electricity sent by the high-voltage wire (fire nozzle wire), break down the air between the two electrodes of the spark plug, and generate an electric spark to ignite the mixed gas in the cylinder. Many idling speed instability, jitter, poor acceleration, lack of power, frequent idling self-extinguishing phenomenon, increased oil and gas consumption. This is due to damaged spark plugs. If the spark plug is dirty, it can be cleaned, and if it is seriously damaged, it needs to be replaced with the same type of accessories. If it cannot be ignited, the electrode gap of the spark plug can be adjusted, which is 0.6-0.9mm in winter and 0.9-1.0mm in other seasons;
(3) If it is said that the fuel oil of the gasifier was not burnt out before it was deactivated last year, the gasifier should be cleaned (be sure to ask a professional to clean it);
(4) Send the lawn mower engine carburetor to a professional shop for repair.
