Keeping method of chainsaw that is not used for a long time

If we don't use the chainsaw for a long time, please keep the chainsaw in the following way before placing it, which can prolong the service life of the chainsaw.

1. Clean the whole chainsaw thoroughly, especially the cylinder radiator and air filter of the chainsaw, and scrub the surface of the chainsaw with an oily cloth.

2. Put a chainsaw in the ventilation area to empty the gasoline tank and clean it.

3. Drain the chainsaw carburetor, otherwise the pump film of the chainsaw carburetor will stick, affecting the next start-up.

4. Clean the fuel in the fuel tank of the chainsaw, and then start the chainsaw engine, so that the chainsaw engine can work until it is automatically extinguished.

5. Remove the chains and guide plates of the chainsaw, clean and inspect them, and spray with protective oil.

6. Fill the lubricating tank of chain saw.

7. Remove the saw spark plug and pour a little engine oil into the cylinder. After pulling the engine 2-3 times with the chainsaw starting rope, install the spark plug of the chainsaw and pull the chainsaw starting rope again to stop it in the position where it feels strong (compress the top dead point).

8. Place the chainsaw engine in a dry, well-ventilated position, away from heat sources or open fires.

9. Keep the chainsaw in a dry and safe place in case it is used by unrelated personnel (e.g. children).

10. If the chainsaw is not used for a long time, wash the chainsaw chain with a brush and place it in the oil tank for safekeeping.

How to maintain the chainsaw?

Chainsaw is a two-stroke power. Attention should be paid to the power and cutting tools to ensure the normal use of the machine. The engine is a two-stroke engine, and the fuel is a mixture of gasoline and oil. The ratio of the mixture is: two-stroke special oil: gasoline = 1:50 (ordinary oil: gasoline = 1:25). Gasoline uses over 90, oil uses two-stroke engine oil, symbol 2T, must use brand-specific engine oil, strictly prohibit the use of four-stroke engine oil. It is suggested that the new machine should be allocated with 1:40 (ordinary oil 1:20) in the first 30 hours and 1:50 (ordinary oil 1:25) in the normal proportion after 30 hours. No more than 1:50 (ordinary oil 1:25) should be allowed. Otherwise, too little concentration will cause cylinder pulling. Please distribute the oil strictly according to the oil dispensing pot attached to the machine, and you can't distribute the oil at will according to the estimate. Mixed oil should be ready-to-use. It is strictly forbidden to use long-standing mixed oil. Before the machine works, first run at a low speed for a few minutes to see the lubricating saw chain oil, forming an oil line, and then work. When the machine works, the throttle is put on high-speed use. After working a tank of oil, we should rest for 10 minutes, clean up the loose gaskets of the machine after each work to ensure heat dissipation; remove the spark plug every 25 hours, brush the dust on the electrode with steel wire, adjust the gap between the electrodes to 0.6 [1]-0.7 mm is better; air filter should remove dust every 25 hours, the dust should be more frequent. The cleaning of foam filter core should be cleaned by gasoline or washing liquid and clean water, squeezed and dried, then soaked in oil and squeezed out of excess oil. If "DON NOT OIL" is printed, no oil is needed; every 50 hours the muffler is used, the muffler is unloaded and the carbon deposit on the exhaust outlet and muffler outlet is cleaned. When using a new chainsaw, attention should be paid to the degree of tightness of the chains, so as to promote the rotation of the chains. It is advisable to use a portable chains with guide teeth parallel to the guide plate. After several minutes, attention should be paid to tightening the chains again.

Before using the chainsaw, people or animals are not allowed to walk within 20 meters. Be sure to check whether there is any corner iron, stone and other debris on the grass, and remove the debris on the grass.

IV. Storage of Chainsaws

When the chainsaw passes through the use stage and then stores, it must clean the body, release the mixed fuel, and burn the fuel in the carburetor; remove the spark plug, add 1-2ml two-stroke oil to the cylinder, pull the starter 2-3 times, and install the spark plug.
